SEQUESTERED

Have you noticed that sadness

Is kind of a little bluer lately?

Have you noticed that the moon

has a sharper angle after midnight?

I swear the horizon is a lot farther this year.

The sky uses to be the limit.

But I cannot even reach the ceiling of my bedroom now.

Do you know why?

I AM SEQUESTERED.
